What is tyre rotation?
Tyre rotation is the process of periodically moving your tyres from one axle to the other (in pairs). Because steering and braking naturally creates stress on the front two tyres, the tread wears away more quickly. By routinely repositioning your tyres, you can maintain even tread wear and improve control over your vehicle in wet conditions. Rotation also gives you a chance to visually inspect your tyres for damage.

What are the benefits of using our tyre rotation service?
If your front tyres have less tread remaining than the rear tyres, it could cause your vehicle to lose traction and aquaplane in wet conditions. Similarly, if your front tyres have more tread remaining than the rear tyres, the latter could cause oversteer and compromise your safety on the road. As a preventative measure, we recommend always using your best tyres at the rear of the vehicle. One of the reasons for this is that if a tyre suddenly deflates, it’s easier to control if it occurs at the front of the vehicle.
What is included in our mobile tyre rotation service?
Receive front to rear or rear to front rotations (in pairs) when you order two tyres through our website. The charge for tyre rotation will depend on whether your vehicle has a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) or not. If your vehicle doesn’t have a tyre pressure monitoring system, we can simply move the wheels to a different position. If, however, your vehicle has TPMS, our service involves moving the tyres. For vehicles that have a TPMS, we will also service your tyre valves if our technician deems it necessary.
Please note that our mobile tyre rotation service isn’t available for vehicles with different sized front and rear tyres. Likewise, our service is only available when you purchase two new tyres.

How much is tyre rotation?
The cost of tyre rotation starts at £19.99 for vehicles that don’t have a tyre pressure monitoring system. For vehicles that do have a TPMS fitted, the cost starts at £24.99.
